Meals with a Mission: Serving Our Community with Heart
Wings of Valor Lodge is proud to contribute by donating extra food from our veteran hunt weekends and other public events to support Meals with a Mission, a local non-profit in Parker, South Dakota, dedicated to delivering hot, home-cooked meals to community members in need.
Every Tuesday evening, volunteers serve elderly residents, individuals recovering from illness or surgery, and cancer patients undergoing treatment — providing not just meals, but care and connection.
Founded in 2023 from one woman's calling to serve, Meals with a Mission began with just five recipients and a simple produce stand fundraiser. Thanks to overwhelming community support — and a little divine confirmation — the organization now delivers 14–15 meals each week, with some weeks reaching up to 34 meals. In March 2024, it officially became a non-profit organization.
Funded entirely through donations, including proceeds from a seasonal produce stand, Meals with a Mission continues to grow through the generosity and heart of the Parker community.
