Spring Clean-up at the Lodge

The Lodge's grounds got a fresh new look on Saturday, May 3, thanks to the collective efforts of a wonderful team of volunteers. Their commitment to giving back to the community is truly inspiring, and we can't thank them enough.

Visitors Welcome

We enjoy hosting visitors at the Lodge. The Chancelor/Lennox American Legion Auxiliary women joined us on this lovely day to learn about our mission: Supporting Those Who Served.

Strength Through Support

On May 10, we hosted a picnic for the Sioux Empire Veteran Service Organizations at the Lodge to introduce ourselves. We began the afternoon by dedicating a Memorial Tree to Bob “Skinny” Vande Kop, with his family sharing how Wings of Valor impacted their lives

Volunteer Training

Volunteer training is essential to ensuring our guests have a World Class experience. Please plan to attend for your designated area. All Trainings will be at the Lodge.

Friday, August 15: Ambassador Training: beginning 1-5 p.m. lunch served at noon. (This training is by invite only.)

Saturday, August 23: Hospitality/Food Service Training: 8:30 a.m. We have a nice surprise for this training. If you want to help, please join us

Saturday, September 13: Lead Guide/Field Team Training: 8:30a.m.

Donor Spotlight

Bierschbach Equipment & Supply proudly supports Wings of Valor Lodge. When you choose to rent the WOVL lift, half of the rental fee goes directly to the Lodge, enabling customers to make a meaningful contribution to our cause.

Additionally, Bierschbach generously donates this lift for our Tower Hunts each season. We truly appreciate their invaluable and ongoing support of our mission, which plays a crucial role in our operations.

First Veteran Fishing Weekend

Three teams went to the river to fish. Friday was rainy and cold. Saturday was sunny and nice. In the evening, we had a fish fry to celebrate our catches. Smiles meant we succeeded.
